Bryce DeLong holds dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education from The University of Nevada, Reno. With a strong academic foundation and a heart for youth, Bryce is now a Youth Advocate and Professional Mentor at Friends of the Children - Eastern Washington. He brings a wealth of experience from his time as a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher at Swope Middle School—Nevada’s #1 ranked public middle school—where he also served as a basketball coach, student voice committee leader, and Leader & Chief Coordinator of the Parent Teacher Home Visit Program.
In these roles, Bryce developed a passion for mentoring the whole child, recognizing that success goes far beyond the classroom. His commitment lies in helping children build resilience, cultivate a growth mindset, and create the support systems they need to navigate life's challenges. Bryce’s approach is grounded in the belief that every child has the potential to thrive when given the right tools and guidance, and he is dedicated to ensuring equitable opportunities for success, particularly for marginalized communities in Eastern Washington.

He is passionate about fostering meaningful connections with youth and their families, and he looks forward to making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those he serves.
