Valerie Adrian is a proud member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe who was raised within a tribal community and maintains a deep connection to their culture. She Her passion centers on giving back to tribal youth and the broader community by sharing, honoring, and preserving cultural heritage.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has held numerous teaching positions within tribal schools and programs. Through these roles, she has gained extensive experience supporting youth in culturally grounded learning environments and building strong, trusting relationships with students and families.

With years of experience working with tribal youth, Valerie has developed strong skills in building healthy, trusting relationships. She is committed to helping youth and community members recognize the value of their culture, build self-confidence, and believe in their own potential. Valerie strives to be a trusted and positive role model as individuals navigate challenges and grow into confident, capable adults.

Valerie brings hands-on experience engaging youth through art education and cultural activities. She has planned and facilitated age-appropriate lessons that promote creativity, self-expression, and cultural connection, incorporating Indigenous practices such as dancing, beading, painting, and storytelling. Her experience managing classroom environments emphasizes respect, encouragement, and meaningful relationships that support each youth’s individual growth.
